The Merano 2000 ski and hiking area is accessible from the town of Merano in just a few minutes, via private car or cable car. For those coming by car, there is a large parking lot at Falzeben/Avelengo below Meran 2000.
From there, the new endless-rope cableway leads to Piffing, where both the Alpine Bob ride and the summit station of the gondola lift are located.
A ride on the Falzeben cableway is convenient, quick—and above all, fun. The swift ride is very comfortable, and offers wonderful panoramic views of the Alpine scenery. Holders of the GuestCard receive a discount.
Operating Hours of the Cableway:
8.04.-30.06.2012 => 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
01.07.-31.08.2012 => 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
