Merano 2000 is an exceptional family ski area with a broad range of options for adults and children alike.

In addition to the nursery slopes on which the little ones can try out their very first moves, there are easy, wide-open runs for children who can already ski and more challenging routes for parents.

The 3-km-long natural sledding trail running from Piffing to Falzeben makes children's hearts beat faster. There is also the new Alpine Bob mountain coaster, which blasts passengers down into the valley through the snowy forests—safely.

Our services include a ski depot, where families can store their equipment so that they don’t need to carry it to the slopes every day. Ski kindergarten and ski school offer professional childcare; at the summit station of the cable car there is also a changing table and a child-friendly restroom.

Family Passes

Meran 2000 offers families a wide range of passes: in addition to the Family Day Pass, there is an Afternoon Card for the sledding trail or skiing in the afternoon sun. With hourly passes, you can ski without interruption and then sit down for a break and bite to eat at a mountain hut, nice and relaxed, with the whole family. There are also staggered day passes, for which the price goes down every hour starting at 11:00 a.m.

Family Weeks

In 2012, Meran 2000’s Family Weeks will take place from January 7th to January 29th and from March 10th to April 1st. Conditions are optimal for a family vacation during Family Weeks; children under 8 learn to ski free of charge.
